August 12th market - I will be at the annual Three Tree Point market

I will be at the Three Tree Point Summer Market on the 12th of August from 10am - 4pm at 3713 SW 171st Street, Three Tree Point in Burien.

That's it. That's the post. 

Kidding. I have much more to tell you.

For the past several summers Jill from my neighborhood has held these summer markets featuring crafters and artisans who live here. This year, I get to have a booth at her market and I am very excited about it and I have been spending the past couple of months preparing for it. It will be my first market where I will do everything myself compared to my last two markets. 

Here is Jill's announcement of the market. Check out the collage at the bottom of it with photos of vendors from the past. 

And, did I tell you, it's a sip and shop. What is that you ask? Well it rhymes with Rosé all day. That's right.

I will have my own booth there, so you just know I am in full swing getting all my ducks in a row to figure out what it should look like. I am space planning and writing a ton of lists and throwing a lot of new ceramic pieces. 

This past weekend we did a trial set up of my new pop-up canopy to see how my shelves could be configured and placed, and I have to tell you, this is making me very very excited. I love to decorate.

To go with my clean lined Scandinavian style, I am using these blond wood shelves. They are my storage shelves, normally and will work great for this. We did get a couple more and I got a flip-table attachment for one of the shelves that will a great front corner of my booth.

Along the back wall there will be a row of three shelving units, which I can't wait to style with my ceramics. The table to the left is the size of table I have had so far at my other markets, so it will be nice this time to have some more room to spread out.

I am busy firing a couple of glaze kilns at the moment. I have a line of stuff waiting to jump into the kiln later today. They have arranged themselves according to height because they know I like that.
